Hecaton Update 0.5.5
Update 0.5.5 introduces a completely new progression system.
Fatestones are now selected during a Level Up. You can now select from 2 out of 30 Fatestones. This replaces the earlier gear-based progression system that felt a bit too cumbersome and confusing.
In addition to this, many of the in-game Items have been altered to be less passive and provide more interesting Gameplay adjustments. Items and Fatestones collected now also appear on the UI.
Many level and background sprites have also been adjusted, and Damage Numbers popping off of characters are now more eye-catching.
Difficulty has also been adjusted. Enemies in general do less damage, but Health Regeneration has been decreased. This lowers the burst damage enemies were previously capable of, but it is now harder to slowly regen back up to full Health. Defensive Fatestones are also more encouraged due to this difficulty change.
